What started out as an attempt to get a quick snapshot of the boys turned into a full-fledged photo shoot. I use the term photo shoot loosely--meaning I chased the boys around the living room trying to get them to sit together and all look at the camera at the same time. I'm not a great photographer, but I did find myself holding a sock over my head and making funny noises to get their attention. Of course, only later did I notice the enormous smudge on my camera lens, which explains the "soft focus/filter" look right in the middle of their faces. It just goes to show, you can't expect the boys, their clothes, the house, and the camera to be clean all at the same time. If that ever does happen, I'll be sure to get a shot--but I doubt they'll be looking at the camera.
