Oh Boy!


Well, it's a good thing I already have all these boy clothes organized, since that's what I'll be needing for BABY BOY #4!



I wasn't overly-anxious for the ultrasound, but I was very curious.  I always said that I didn’t mind whether we had a boy or a girl, and I wasn’t just being diplomatic. I tried and tried to figure out which I preferred, but I came up with pros and cons on either side, and it was all pretty balanced. I would have been excited either way, but now that I know it’s a boy, I’m excited AND relaxed–the clothes are all ready, I’ve had lots of practice with boys, I know (somewhat) what to expect, etc.



As far as being outnumbered, I'm pretty used to that--growing up with 7 brothers (2 sisters), being surrounded by the 7 boys in Chris's family (4 sisters); spending the last 7 years changing boy diapers, picking out boy clothes, breaking up boy battles, boys, boys, boys..



Good thing I've always had a thing for boys :)

  2. congratulations nancy! 4 boys...wow! josh has 3 brothers and they are all still so crazy when they get together. josh and i have really enjoyed reading wife advice. we have a lot of the same arguments. sometimes i'll (jokingly, of course) say, "you're the meanest husband ever!" and he'll just reply by saying, "i am not! did you see what chris wrote today?" HA!

  3. Oh my gosh! Your clothes are so organized! Wow. All my baby clothes are thrown into diaper boxes in approximate size groups and maybe labeled on the outside. Maybe.

  4. i so envy your organization. we did some good organizing in the toy room today, i think you'd be proud. i'm still working on the office... yikes! thanks for all the good advice though. Congratulations again on the fourth boy!

  6. I'm right there with you! It's just seems hard for other people to believe that that is REALLY how you feel (at least that has been my experience).
