Homecoming

Together At Last

We brought Robbie home yesterday. He'll be on oxygen for a little while, and we'll have to keep him home all winter, but we're thrilled to have him with us!

There are more details to share, but for now they'll have to wait
... it's a bit chaotic here!

Hooray! Huzzah! Three cheers for baby being home! Three cheers for no more daily trips to and from the hospital! Three cheers for Robbie! (That's nine cheers, all together. And who said I can't do math?)

Congratulations!! My best wishes to you being cooped up all winter. Will you have to take turns going to church? We went through that for a while when our daughter was neutropenic.

I'm just so happy for you guys! I hope that you will get a little babymoon with him, Nancy, and not just have all of your help drop off. You are all together now -- yipee!!!

Congratulations, Nancy and family!! I am so happy for you! I think the day we left the NICU with my girls was one of the happiest days of my life (and I was grateful for the NICU). You're, of course, on to new adventures and challenges, but hopefully the euphoria of this huge milestone will help you through the sleepless nights and other preemie-related experiences ahead. (Does he have a monitor in addition to the O2?)

I just wanted to let you know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers. You and your husband are the perfect parents for this sweet little baby to have! I can't imagine the struggles you have been through, but I know you are such a strong person and will help your family so much!

Wow, look how big he's gotten. I bet it is nice to have him home, but I can only imagine the chaos. I hope the nursing is going better or will be soon, pumping and bottle feeding is no fun. Your family looks so good. You are looking fantastic. You must manage stress well, or hide it well.

Thinking of you and your family! I think you are managing life better than most would. Keep up the sleepless nights and take care. Amanda
